Job Profile:
As a
Customer (Technical) Support Advisor,
you will assist the
Technical Support team
in providing a high level of customer service, to both internal and external customers, in order to
promote and support Vent-Axia and its products within the Ventilation space
. Extensive training will be provided.
You will hold extensive Customer Service experience preferably within a call centre/ predominantly phone-based role.
You'll be comfortable and confident in managing a high number of calls, deal with challenging customers.
You will be accustomed to providing product support and fault finding, with the ability to resolve issues with ease utilising internal systems and product information.
Working hours: 8.45am - 4.55pm, with an earlier finish on Fridays at 4.25pm.
As a Customer Support Advisor, your responsibilities will include:
To answer telephone calls and e-mails in a clear, confident and professional manner.
To advise and select Vent-Axia products to meet our customers' requirements.
To escalate customer product issues to our Service Department as necessary.
To assist with Technical Project Selections and Quotations.
To help maintain and develop the Technical Support electronic product library resources.
To provide technical and installation guidance to contractors and others for Vent-Axia products, and a willingness to learn about electrical wiring schematics, and to assist with wiring queries.
To complete all relevant documentation and administration necessary to ensure the smooth running/working of the department as required.
To establish and consolidate a good working relationship with internal and external sales personnel, together with other departments.
To ensure you are technically aware and up-to-date with any new products and developments.
To be successful in this role you will need:
Product based Technical Sales & Support experience desirable, extensive training will be provided.
Ideally telephone/call centre based, however Trade/Retail/Merchants shop floor/counter would be considered.
Experience in selecting, supporting, troubleshooting, problem solving with complex products (the more technical the product, the better).
Desirable (not essential):
Basic knowledge and understanding of the principles of air movement
An understanding of electronics/electrical drawings and ability to follow basic wiring diagrams
