Job Description

JOB PURPOSE
An exciting opportunity to join a leading manufacturing company temporarily with an immediate start has become available, supplying high-quality products to the industrial vehicle sector. This is a permanent, full-time position, based at the UK manufacturing facility near Chesterfield. Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, the successful candidate will be proactive with strong administration skills, excellent communication, and a passion for customer service.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Co-ordinate customer order fulfilment. Liaise with site production and update customers on delivery status. Process customer sales orders on the ERP system. Raise stock replenishment orders. Manage and update customer portals for key accounts. Establish, manage, and update customer price lists. Data inputting Bills of Materials (BOMs) for parts currently in manufacture, raising part numbers as necessary to complete. Liaising with the Commercial & Manufacturing team.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Confident and professional manner with customers. Self-motivated attitude with a willingness to learn. Good communication skills within all internal areas of the business. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy. Process-oriented, able to work independently or in a team environment.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION

Minimum 3 years' experience of working in a Customer Service environment or sales administration. Computer literate with good MS Office skills. Experience of processing orders on an ERP system. Experience with or desire to learn Bills of Material. Experience in document control and administration.
