Welling is a wholesaler of glass and timber door hardware to the construction and fitout trade, based in Bourton on the Water.
There is a current vacancy in our Customer Service Team, which is the department responsible for processing orders, helping to resolve customer delivery issues with nationwide couriers, supporting the sales team and delivering a high level of aftersales care.
The role mainly includes the following tasks,
? Processing customer orders promptly
? Liaising directly with customers with regards to order queries, back orders, stock issues etc
? Dealing with courier issues and helping customers with courier-delivery challenges
? Answering incoming phone calls, either helping the customer or fielding the call to the right department
? Other customer service and support tasks as required
Specific training will be given on the IT systems we use here, but it is important that you are experienced in the use of computers, able to type quickly, and use basic programmes such as Outlook, Excel, Word etc. You should also be comfortable with talking to customers on the phone, which requires skill and calmness especially in dealing with customer problems such as late courier deliveries.
Your place of work would be our offices at Bourton on the Water, GL54 2HQ. Hours would be 8am-5pm with 1hour for lunch/breaks, Monday-Friday. We offer 20days paid holiday plus bank holidays, and extra days at Christmas are normally gifted as extra holiday as we usually have a company shut down.
