Customer Service Representative

The Role:

AMS are seeking a proactive and professional

Customer Service Representative

to join the helpdesk team at NatWest. In this role, you will provide support to BACS service users, resolving queries and delivering accurate information to ensure a smooth customer experience.

- Start Date - Tuesday 6th January 2026 (Subject to vetting)

- Location - Gogarburn, Edinburgh, EH129SB

- Contract - 18 Months with possibility of extension or permanency

- Pay Rate - 14.29 per hour

- Full Time - 35 Hours Per Week

- Weekly pay

- Shifts: Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm or 10am-6pm based on a rotational basis

- Hybrid working - 5 days a month in office which will involve one day per week in office, during a 4 week month, you will need to attend office on an additional day in the week

Key Responsibilities

Handle inbound calls from BACS service users and resolve queries efficiently

Provide accurate information and support regarding the BACS system

Manage mailbox requests and respond promptly to customer inquiries

Assist via webchat and respond to queries

Maintain accurate records using spreadsheets and databases

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction

Skills & Experience Required

Strong IT competency, including Outlook, Excel, and Microsoft Office

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy

Previous telephony experience is beneficial

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
