to join our Regional Customer Center, supporting our
Aggregates and Asphalt,
operations. This is your chance to play a vital role in helping Holcim UK build progress for people and the planet, while working in an energetic office that handles over 150 calls a day.

What You'll Be Doing
Act as the first point of contact for customers, handling enquiries and processing orders quickly, accurately, and professionally.
Work closely with
Sales, Customer Service, and Logistics teams
to ensure every order runs smoothly, from initial enquiry through to delivery.
Provide real-time updates on stock availability, delivery schedules, and site issues.
Build strong relationships with both internal teams and external customers, always promoting a positive and professional company image.
Proactively manage customer expectations, resolving issues and communicating any order changes effectively.
Support forward planning, helping manage upcoming orders and maximising operational efficiency.
Handle administrative tasks, including order entry, reporting, and documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance at all times.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance both customer satisfaction and business performance.
Who You Are
You're a confident communicator with a keen eye for detail and a genuine passion for customer service. You bring energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism to every interaction, thriving in an environment where teamwork and organisation are key.
Experience and Skills:
Experience in customer service, ideally within a logistics, manufacturing, or construction environment.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a friendly and professional phone manner.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and comfortable learning new systems such as
ERP platforms or Salesforce
.
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to prioritise effectively under pressure.
A proactive problem-solver who can make sound decisions and handle customer issues with empathy and confidence.
Collaborative, customer-focused, and adaptable, with a strong sense of accountability.
