About the Role
We're seeking a
Customer Service Representative
to support our growing UK business.
Reporting to the Sales Manager - UK & Ireland, this hands-on role is responsible for customer service, logistics coordination, and local office administration.
You'll work closely with our UK warehouse and 3PL partners -- including regular site visits -- and collaborate with our Netherlands Customer Service Team to ensure seamless service across the EMEA region.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain strong relationships with 3PL and warehouse partners across the UK & Ireland.
Handle customer orders, enquiries, and communications professionally and promptly.
Coordinate delivery schedules, stock availability, and logistics communication.
Conduct regular warehouse visits to monitor performance and drive collaboration.
Support local logistics operations, including freight coordination and inventory checks.
Oversee UK administrative processes, supplier coordination, and documentation.
Assist the Sales Manager with reporting, data entry, and regional coordination.
Identify and implement process improvements for greater efficiency.
Ensure all activities align with Steel Blue's values and commitment to quality.
While primarily office-based, this role includes expected travel within the UK and occasional trips to Ireland and the Netherlands to visit warehouse and distributor partners and attend regional team events. Candidates must be available to travel as required to maintain strong working relationships.

Essential skills and experience:
Previous experience in customer service, logistics coordination, or warehouse administration.
Excellent relationship management and communication skills.
Strong organisational and time-management ability.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/CRM systems.
Current UK driver's licence and willingness to travel regularly.
Positive, solutions-focused attitude and ability to work both independently and in a team.
