Customer Service Specialist
to join our office team.
This is a key office-based role in ensuring our customers receive outstanding service, from processing orders, managing phone and email queries to coordinating with production and quality control teams to ensure customer expectations are met efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate will be proactive, confident in making informed decisions, and able to see each customer interaction through to a successful resolution.

Key Responsibilities
Handle incoming and outgoing calls, emails, and showroom enquiries promptly and professionally.
Accurately process customer orders on the system, following customer-specific instructions and delivery requirements.
Take ownership of customer complaints and queries, collaborating with Production, Quality Control, and Logistics to ensure issues are investigated and resolved effectively.
Use initiative and sound judgment to make informed decisions that balance customer satisfaction with business needs.
Provide support to other office functions, including Accounts, Credit Control, and Sales Administration, when required.
Maintain accurate records in CRM and order systems, contributing to continuous improvement and efficiency.
Provide clear and timely updates to customers regarding order status, delivery schedules, and any ongoing issues.
Skills and Experience Required
Minimum 2 years' experience in a customer service, sales administration, or similar office-based role.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong initiative and confidence to collaborate across departments and follow through on complex issues.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new systems.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and order processing.
Proven ability to prioritise, problem-solve, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Positive, professional, and proactive attitude when dealing with customers and colleagues.
Desirable Attributes
Experience working within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
Familiarity with quality control processes or production workflows.
Experience supporting credit control or accounts tasks.
A team player who is adaptable and eager to learn.
