Customer Service Specialist

Location:

Feltham

Rotating shifts:

Monday -Friday: 7:00- 16:00, 8:00 -17:00, 08:30-17:30, 9:00-18:00

The successful candidate will ensure the safe, efficient transport of cargo in line with company procedures and legal requirements, meeting customer expectations and supporting company profitability.



What will you be doing?





Timely and effective communication with customers, partners & internal departments via e-mail & telephone. Effective monitoring to ensure deliveries are completed within the agreed timelines. Pro-active problem solving with customers and colleagues when issues arise. Resolving credit management queries where necessary. Handling complex customer queries or complaints that have been escalated Developing and implementing customer service policies & procedures. Provision of PODs to meet customer requirements where necessary. Providing KPI and reports both externally and internally where required Ensuring consignments are rated correctly to invoice in an accurate and timely manner. Ensuring that all delivery and collection consignments are conforming to correct information. Liaising with operations and overseas offices to ensure customer commitments are delivered upon. Updating and verifying the DSV Order Management System with customer booking details.

About You





Be customer focused with dedication in your service delivery to meet customer needs. An excellent problem solver with previous experience working in a customer service role Excellent communication skills both verbal/written with a polite & professional telephone manner. Excellent IT skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly as required. Ability to work under pressure, re-prioritising workload where necessary. Be reliable with the ability to multitask Strong attention to detail, accuracy and numeracy.
