Customer Service Specialist

to join our growing Sea Freight Imports team in Rochester.

What You'll Be Doing

Managing ocean import shipments from start to finish--keeping everything running smoothly and on time. Acting as the main point of contact for your customers--building relationships and delivering proactive, top-tier service. Coordinating with overseas offices and partners to keep supply chains moving efficiently. Keeping clients informed with clear, accurate updates and making sure online tracking is accurate. Handling documentation with precision and accuracy. Supporting your teammates and stepping up when needed.

What We're Looking For

3+ years

experience in sea freight import operations (FCL or LCL). Confident communicator--clear, friendly, and professional, whether it's by phone or email. Proactive mindset--you see what needs doing and you go for it. A customer-first attitude--you genuinely care about helping people. Commercially aware--you understand the bigger business picture. Team player with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
