Role Details

This is a part time position; you will be working an average of 35 hours per week on alternate weeks. Shifts will take place between 0500 am and 21:15 pm, including a combination of early, late and weekends. You must be able to arrange your own transport to ensure timely arrival for early and late shifts. Full training and a uniform are provided upon joining. Please note that applicants must be 18 years of age or older. It is a requirement that candidates can reliably travel to and from their agreed booking location at the scheduled times.

About The Role





In the Customer Service supervisor role, and you will oversee the running of the Ticket Office and ensuring the station is well kept and organised as well as automatic ticket gate (ATG) duties.

Primary responsibilities includeGreeting customers, selling tickets, and addressing customer inquiries, emphasising a customer service-oriented approach with a friendly demeanor. Support customers in using ticket machines located throughout the station and provide guidance on new ticketing technologies, including smart cards and mobile apps. Ensure adherence to safety, security, and cash regulations while maintaining ticket machines. Utilise company systems such as Fujitsu Star (ticket office sales machine) and Ticket Vending Machines (TVMs). Conduct security checks as part of the station security plan (SSP), with varying frequencies depending on the station, including monitoring for left items, securing waste bins, and checking that doors are locked or secured. Supervise a team and oversee daily station operations. Manage and coordinate the various processes required to operate the station effectively. Liaise with multiple internal departments, contractors, and third-party partners. Support and assist passengers while demonstrating effective customer service values.
