About the Role
Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, you'll be the go-to person for escalations and support during your shift. You'll lead a team of Sales Administrators and Account Managers, ensuring they are motivated, skilled, and empowered to provide outstanding service to our customers.
What You'll Do:
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing customer service team.
Oversee daily operations, ensuring accurate order processing and customer communication.
Act as the first point of contact for escalated customer issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
Collaborate with internal departments (production, warehousing, stock) to maintain service levels.
Drive continuous improvement in processes, systems, and team performance.
Manage training plans and support career development within the team.
Ensure ERP system accuracy and troubleshoot operational issues.
Attend customer meetings and lead internal service-focused meetings.
Monitor KPIs and implement strategies for improvement.
Support recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
Ensure smooth shift transitions through effective handovers.
What You'll Bring:
Proven experience in customer service or sales operations.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Organised, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
