Our business is going through a pro-longed growth period, and we are seeking to recruit an experienced Customer Service Team Lead to join our vibrant and pro-active team.
The Candidate
The Customer Service Team Lead supports the Customer Service team and oversees the effective management of customer activities, including order processing, general customer administration, quote preparation, and other day-to-day customer and sales support functions. This role reports to the Head of Technical Sales and Product Support.
Skills Required:
Minimum of 2-3 years relevant experience
Proven leadership and people management capabilities
Previous experience in a Team Leader or Supervisory role
Strong understanding of retail or e-commerce customer service environments
Ability to motivate, support, and inspire team members
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong problem-solving abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
High-level verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
Ability to build and maintain strong business relationships

Duties and Responsibilities
Team Leadership - Lead, motivate, and support the Customer Service team to deliver high-quality service
Handle and resolve general customer enquiries in a timely and professional manner
Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
Prepare customer quotations while ensuring profit margin targets are achieved
Liaise with Purchasing and Operations teams to ensure customers orders are delivered on time
Collaborate effectively as part of a close-knit and supportive team
