About us



Cheaper Online Ltd, an online retailer based in Blackpool are recruiting for a customer services team member to expand our existing team.

The successful person will be working as part of our team of office administrators, reporting to the Office Manager. In this role, you will provide a wide range of administration support to our busy customer centric administration team. Working to daily targets and SLA's to ensure we continue to deliver an outstanding customer experience to all of our customers, across multiple sales channels, using a variety of communication methods. You will be representing and protecting our brand, ensuring the office environment and any customer communications are kept professional at all times. You'll be working as part of the Customer Services team to contribute towards overall business success.

Main Responsibilities



Providing an excellent experience to all of our customers, including third parties and suppliers Answering incoming and making outgoing telephone calls, in a polite and friendly manner Dealing with customer queries via e-mail, telephone and third party platforms Working with data imports and exports on spreadsheets Taking telephone orders Ensuring products are correctly listed to our sales channels Dealing with customer returns, refunds and replacements

Required Skills



Previous administration / customer service experience is essential Excellent computer skills and a fast typing speed are required Be motivated and driven to deliver great customer service Good communication and reading skills Excellent written and verbal English Familiarity with spreadsheets a bonus A pleasant telephone manner Have good attention to detail Be a quick learner An ability to recognise errors and raise these for a Team Leaders attention Be able to follow instruction, query when unsure, and stay calm under pressure Good organisational skills, keeping your work area clean and tidy

Hours



Our core days/hours are Mon-Fri, 5 days a week, 08:00-16:00. Other working patterns within these times will be considered for the right candidate, although you must be able to work Monday's. As well as being open Mon-Fri we also open Sat and Sundays at the busy peak period through November and early December, and we would request that you be able to work either the Saturday or Sunday (approx. 6 weekends) although you can take a weekday off in lieu if required.

Pay & Holiday Pay



You will get 28 days or equivalent paid holiday a year, some bank holidays (usually Easter Monday, May & August Bank Holidays) we are open giving the option to work (paid at time and a half) and save the holiday day, or take the day off.

Weekly pay, paid in arrears for the previous week (Mon-Sun)

Hours worked over 40 hours in a week are paid at time and a half - great for the additional weekend shifts in the run up to Christmas.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.71 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
