Job Description

RJ Lifts Group Limited are looking for an experienced Customer Service Co-ordinator to join our busy team based in Romford.

The Customer Service Co-ordinator is responsible for ensuring excellent customer service standards, responding efficiently to customer inquiries, and maintaining high customer satisfaction. This role acts as the key liaison between customers, internal departments, and external partners, ensuring all customer-related operations run smoothly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:



Act as the first point of contact for customer queries via phone, email, and in-person. Coordinate with sales, logistics, and operations teams to manage customer orders, deliveries, and after-sales support. Monitor and follow up on customer works delivered by our engineering teams, ensuring timely conclusion. Handle customer complaints and resolve issues efficiently to maintain customer satisfaction. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, orders, feedback, and complaints in the CRM system. Prepare reports on customer service metrics and suggest improvements to enhance customer experience. Support the customer service team with administrative tasks and workflow coordination. Maintain product knowledge and stay updated with company policies to provide accurate information.

Skills & Qualifications:



Proven experience in a customer service or administrative role (1-3 years preferred). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with CRM systems is a plus. Ability to remain calm under pressure and resolve conflicts professionally. Attention to detail and a customer-focused mindset.

Desirable:



Experience in working within the Lift Industry or similar facilities management. Experience dealing with customer accounts.

Working Conditions:



Office-based environment Standard working hours 37.5 hours + 30 minutes lunch break (unpaid) Monday - Friday, typical shift pattern 08:00 - 16:00 / 09:00 - 17:00 with occasional overtime depending on business needs.
