Job Summary


This role provides essential customer service and sales administration and office support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, excellent customer service, and efficient coordination between the sales, production, and dispatch teams. The postholder will be responsible for processing orders, supporting customers, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with general office duties that keep the business running effectively.

This role is key to providing office and telephone cover for both internal requirements and external customer requirements.

Sales Administration



Handle incoming sales enquiries via phone, email, website and social channels.

Provide product information to customers, including panel specifications, lead times, pricing, and suitability for their project.

Prepare and issue quotations, proformas and invoices.

Process sales orders accurately and promptly using internal systems.

Liaise with the production team to confirm availability, schedules, and manufacturing timelines.

Coordinate delivery dates with customers and communicate any changes proactively.

Maintain customer records, sales logs and CRM data accurately.

Support the Head of Retail sales with reports, forecasts, file preparation, and customer follow-up.

Liase with and provide support to the remote sales teams to support trade customer sales.

Customer Service



Provide professional and helpful customer support throughout the sales process.

Respond to customer queries regarding product selection, installation information, or aftersales support.

Handle delivery queries, complaints or issues in line with internal procedures.

Build strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.

General Office Administration



Act as a first point of contact for visitors, calls and general enquiries.

Carry out routine administrative tasks including filing, data entry, scanning and document management.

Assist with stock monitoring of brochures, samples, and office supplies.

Support the Operations/Production team with administrative tasks as required.

Maintain tidy, organised office spaces and ensure administrative processes run efficiently.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From 13.00 per hour
