WorkSmarter is a fast-growing HR and Time Tracking platform supporting thousands of businesses across the UK. We're looking for a motivated, friendly, and proactive Customer Service & Sales Assistant to join our team and help us deliver an exceptional experience to every client.

About the role


You will be the first point of contact for new and existing customers, handling support enquiries, managing live chats, and ensuring potential clients are booked in for product demos. This role combines customer service with light sales activity, so confidence, clarity, and a positive attitude are essential.

What you'll be doing



Responding to customer support cases via email and online chat Providing clear, friendly guidance to help clients get the most from the platform Qualifying inbound leads and booking appointments for upcoming demos Following up with engaged prospects to ensure they receive the right support Maintaining accurate notes and updating our systems as needed Working closely with the wider team to ensure a smooth customer experience

What we're looking for



Excellent written and verbal communication A proactive approach with strong attention to detail Confident speaking with customers and guiding them through solutions Comfortable using online systems and learning new software Organised, dependable, and able to manage multiple conversations at once Previous experience in customer service, admin, or sales is helpful but not essential
