Customer Service / Telesales Executive - Food Industry
London / South Ruislip | 28,000 - 32,000 per year (DOE)
Full-time, 8am - 5pm | On-Site | Permanent
Shield Foods are a leading seafood distributor, serving restaurants, wholesalers, and businesses across the UK. We're looking for a Customer Service / Telesales Executive who's passionate about customer satisfaction, has great attention to detail, and thrives in a dynamic environment.

What You'll Do (not limited to):
Take and process customer orders via phone, email, and live chat Proactively follow up with customers about deliveries, availability, or delays Resolve order issues with patience and professionalism (e.g., late or incorrect deliveries) Keep customer records accurate and up to date Communicate across departments (logistics, sales, finance) to ensure excellent service Liaise with suppliers for special orders, returns, or collections Help customers register online and use our ordering system Identify opportunities to upsell and support overall sales targets Assist with basic account queries (e.g., flagged payments, invoice questions) Upsell to existing accounts
What We're Looking For:
1-3 years' experience in customer service, telesales, or order processing (ideally in foodservice / hospitality) Clear communicator - confident, friendly, and professional over the phone and email Detail-oriented and organised - able to manage multiple priorities under pressure Strong problem-solving skills and a team-player mindset Comfortable using CRM/order processing systems (we'll train you) Bonus: an interest in food, seafood, or hospitality
