We are seeking a proactive and results-driven

Customer Telesales Service Contracts Specialist

to support our service contract renewal and telesales efforts. Focused on maintaining and growing our service agreements, this role will be pivotal in strengthening relationships with existing customers and ensuring the continued reliability of their Topcon medical devices.

Key Responsibilities



Proactively contact customers across the

UK and Ireland

to discuss upcoming or expired service contracts. Generate and issue tailored service contract renewal quotes based on warranty status, device usage, and service history. Follow up on quotations, track customer responses, and close renewals within a structured sales cycle. Maintain accurate records in our CRM systems (SAP, ServiceMax), ensuring data on quotes, customer interactions, and outcomes is up-to-date. Identify and present upsell opportunities, including extended coverage and advanced support options. Collaborate closely with Service Engineers and the back office to deliver consistent and aligned customer messaging. Address basic customer questions around coverage, terms, and next steps--escalating complex inquiries as needed. Support marketing campaigns with relevant materials and customer outreach efforts. Report on quote-to-close ratios and contribute to continuous improvement in customer satisfaction and retention.


Qualifications

What You'll Bring



A minimum of

5 years' experience

in telesales, inside sales, or customer account management, ideally within a technical or medical environment. Strong communication skills--both verbal and written--with the ability to build rapport quickly and maintain trust over time. Proven ability to manage a high volume of outbound calls and structured follow-ups. Confidence in issuing quotations and handling the full renewal process from start to close. Technically comfortable--you can quickly learn the fundamentals of medical devices and articulate the benefits of preventative maintenance and service cover. Highly organized and self-motivated, with strong time and task management abilities. Experience in service contracts, warranty renewals, or post-sales technical support is highly advantageous. Professional, goal-driven, and adaptable in your communication style.
