As a Cyber Essentials Plus Team Manager, you will lead a talented team of assessors, ensuring the efficient and high-quality delivery of Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Pus assessments, while also guiding, mentoring, and developing your team. You'll be supported by senior technical leadership and have opportunities to expand your career across advisory, ISO 27001 consultancy, and penetration testing services.

Role Overview:

This is a leadership and delivery-focused role for someone who enjoys both technical work and managing a high-performing team. You'll take ownership of the Cyber Essentials Plus service, oversee assessments, support clients, and provide mentorship to junior consultants and apprentices. Your role will also involve helping to shape processes, maintain compliance with IASME standards, and contribute to KEYSIGMA's broader cybersecurity services.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of Cyber Essentials Plus assessors, including scheduling, development, and performance management. Take ownership of KEYSIGMA's Cyber Essentials Plus assessments, ensuring they meet IASME standards. Mentor and support apprentices and junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and growth. Work closely with clients to communicate findings, provide guidance, and help secure their applications against emerging threats. Contribute to presales activities, including scoping calls and proposal drafting. Support the marketing team by producing content such as blogs, case studies, or technical articles. Ensure all engagements adhere to KEYSIGMA's high-quality standards and industry best practices.

Mandatory Requirements:

Certified IASME Cyber Essentials Assessor. IASME Cyber Essentials Plus Assessor qualified. Minimum 3 years' experience in an IT or Information Security role

What Will Set You Apart:

Leadership experience with teams delivering technical services. Penetration testing qualifications: CRT, OSCP, CSTM. Information Governance/ISO 27001 qualifications: Lead Auditor, CISSP, CISM. Experience in advisory or consultancy roles. Proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders.

Skills & Personal Attributes:

Strong technical knowledge of Cyber Essentials standards and information security best practices. Auditing and vulnerability assessment experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Analytical and detail-oriented. Positive, proactive, and able to motivate and guide a team. Exceptional organizational, planning, and time management skills.
