We are looking for a Cyber Information Assurance Specialist for an 18 Month contracted based in Bristol (3-4 days per week in office required) on behalf of our globally respected client who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet\'s vital power needs

Purpose of the Role:

The Information Assurance Specialist will work as part of the Cyber Delivery Team from an IT Security perspective leading several projects. Work collaboratively with the Head of Programme, and other Programme/Project Managers, Business Stakeholders, IT vendors and the Solution Architects to design or update IT and security solutions, making sure they\'re in accordance with regulatory requirements, the organisations strategy and risk management framework.

As a Cyber Information Assurance Specialist you will be responsible for:

• Providing security oversight identifying gaps and facilitating effective communication channels and escalation paths for project managers, solution architects and senior stakeholders.
• Analysing project security requirements (taking account of local laws and regulations), determining the security objectives and main security risks strategy.
• Planning and managing cyber security assessment and audit activities within the development life cycle to confirm compliance with organisation policy controls and regulatory control frameworks.
• Verifying the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and technology through assessments and control frameworks.
• Be responsible for Quality/Delay of cybersecurity activities and deliverables, including

• Cyber security Context and Cyber security Risk Analysis
• Cyber security Architecture Definition and Requirement Allocation (CADRA)
• Cascading of requirements to suppliers
• Application of Cyber security Assurance Level
• Definition of Cyber security Operating Procedures
• Evaluation of the achieved Cyber security level
• Provide support to technical design meetings

What we require from the candidate:

• Candidates must hold or be eligible to receive ACTIVE SC CLEARANCE (Active Clearance is highly advantageous)
• Dynamic and autonomous leadership skills with strong communication and management skills.
• Practiced understanding of securing and evaluating OT network and system architectures, supported by architectural concepts and techniques of systems and networks, operating systems, and associated programming languages.
• Knowledge of main cyber security standards and regulations, eg, ISA/IEC62443, TS 50701, ISO 2700X, JSP 604, NIST and the NIS Directive.
• A cyber security certification such as ISA/IEC-62443, CISSP or GICSP (Desirable).
