Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in protecting our organisation's information systems and networks from cyber threats. You will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, and responding to security incidents while ensuring compliance with security policies and best practices. This position requires a proactive approach to identifying vulnerabilities and implementing effective security measures.

Responsibilities

Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity using tools such as Nmap. Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential security risks. Collaborate with IT teams to support network infrastructure, including VoIP and MPLS technologies. Implement and maintain security protocols for cloud architecture and IaaS environments. Develop and encode scripts for automating security tasks and improving incident response times. Provide support for IP networking issues, ensuring secure configurations are in place. Assist in the development of cybersecurity policies, procedures, and training materials. Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technology advancements.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a cybersecurity role or related field. Strong knowledge of Debian operating systems and their security configurations. Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and architectures. Experience in network support, particularly with VoIP systems and MPLS networks. Proficiency in IP networking principles and practices. Understanding of IaaS environments and their security implications. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey technical information.
