Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cyber Security Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of information security principles and practices, with a focus on protecting our organisation's digital assets. This role involves monitoring, detecting, and responding to security incidents while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Duties

Monitor network traffic for unusual activity using SIEM tools and implement incident response protocols. Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in systems and applications. Configure and manage firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems (IDS) to safeguard network infrastructure. Collaborate with IT teams to implement secure network architecture, including LAN, WAN, and cloud environments. Ensure the integrity of data through encryption methods and PKI management. Perform regular audits of system configurations and access controls using tools like Splunk and SolarWinds. Assist in disaster recovery planning and high availability solutions for critical systems. Stay updated on emerging threats and vulnerabilities within the cybersecurity landscape.
