Job Title: Cyber Security Engineer/SIEM Engineer (ArcSight)

Day Rate: Up to \xc2\xa3800 p/d

IR35 Status: Inside IR35

Contract Length: Initial 6-months (likely to be extended multiple times).

Hybrid Location: 2 days per week in Central London, 3 days remote.

About the Client and the Role:

My client, a globally renowned name in financial services is seeking an experienced Security Engineer with strong knowledge and recent experience of ArcSight to join their Security Team on an initial 6-month (but fully expected to extend multiple times) basis.

The main function of the role is to perform Security Engineer duties, and on-top of this act as the go-to contact for ArcSight technology throughout an ongoing ArcSight integration project.

Main Responsibilities:

• Act as point of contact for ArcSight (integration, deployment, configuration etc.)
• Implementing and integration of SIEM/security tools and processes
• Automate build, configuration and updates for security tools
• Supporting and m aintaining software and patch management for security products
• Integration of security capabilities - Scripting with Python, PowerShell etc.

Candidate Requirements:

• Expert level knowledge & hands-on experience with ArcSight
• Experience with FlexConnector and ArcSight ESM
• Strong professional background in Security Engineering (supporting security in major environments)
• Knowledge of Security Tools (eg CyberArk, Carbon Black, McAfee, SIEM tools etc.)
• Understanding of automation and CI/CD pipelines (highly desirable)
• Strong knowledge and understanding of security standards, frameworks, best practices
• Strong skills Scripting with Python, PowerShell etc.
• Relevant Certification/Qualification (eg CISSP, ArcSight ESM)
