Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Red Team Operator to join our dynamic cybersecurity team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of offensive security techniques and methodologies, with the ability to simulate real-world attacks to identify vulnerabilities in our systems. This role is crucial in enhancing our security posture and ensuring the integrity of our information systems.

1. Implementing a programme of work which balances a regular tempo of adversary emulation exercises with a realistic assessment of the organisation's ability to remediate exercise findings in a timely manner -- ensuring timely, risk-informed resolution across technology and business domains, with clear ownership, tracking and validation.
2. Leveraging Threat Intelligence analysis (e.g. attack path maps) regarding the top threats to using this intelligence to develop severe but plausible scenarios for adversarial compromise of the organisation
3. Planning, executing and documenting adversarial simulations to test the organisation's security posture, with the opportunity to develop tools and techniques to exploit vulnerabilities, evade detection and achieve lateral movement within our network
4. Subject matter expertise in attack path testing and tactics, techniques and procedures used by a range of adversaries
5. Incorporation of Threat Intelligence analysis into Red Team delivery to ensure that simulations reflect the latest developments in the threat environment
6. Ensure appropriate governance mechanisms are in place for Red Team activity, including around the use of sequestered/confidential infrastructure
7. Strict compliance with regulatory expectations and guidelines around Red Team and Purple Team activity

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: 400.00-450.00 per day
