As a Cyber Technical Analyst at Daintta, you will contribute to the design and delivery of secure technology solutions by supporting risk assessments, control implementation, and architecture reviews. You'll gain hands-on experience applying cybersecurity frameworks, analysing system designs, and exploring emerging threats--building a strong foundation in technical cyber consulting while learning how to embed security into real-world business environments.
Key Responsibilities

  • Support the assessment of client needs by contributing to stakeholder interviews, documentation reviews, and workshop preparation.
  • Assist in applying and interpreting cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) under guidance from senior team members.
  • Help analyse design documentation to identify potential security risks and suggest appropriate control measures.
  • Contribute to the integration of security principles into system design and development processes.
  • Support the drafting of information security policies, standards, and guidelines with input from experienced consultants.
  • Monitor emerging technologies and industry trends to understand their potential impact on cybersecurity strategies.
  • Participate in threat modelling and risk assessment activities, helping to build a broad understanding of threat landscapes.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to explore secure architecture options and mitigation strategies.
  • Deliver high-quality work to agreed timelines, demonstrating initiative and a willingness to learn.
  • Assist in client engagements by preparing materials for meetings, pitches, and presentations.
  • Take part in internal initiatives that contribute to the growth and evolution of the cyber practice.

Skills/Knowledge
Required Skills/Knowledge
  • Degree Educated or equivalent.
  • Communication: Clear verbal and written communication, especially when translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences.

  • Problem-Solving: Analytical thinking and a structured approach to breaking down complex challenges.
