Due to significant expansion we have a fantastic opportunity for Cyclotron Technicians to join our Guildford Radiopharmacy Team.
If you are an experienced Production Radiochemist or Maintenance Engineer with experience in the pharmaceutical sector then this may be the opportunity you are looking for.
Reporting into the Engineering Manager the Cyclotron Technician will support all aspects of the manufacturing process. This will include cyclotrons, dispensing systems, autoclaves and VHP systems compliance with GMP.
The role will also include the responsibility to support Radiation Protection Supervisor activities across the site including management of systems and waste management.
Extensive training will be provided across all aspects of the role for suitable candidates.
Hours of work for the roles are 40 hours per week Monday-Sunday.
We are inviting applications from experienced Production Radiochemists and Maintenance Engineers. To be considered for the role you must hold a BSc/MSc in a related scientific discipline or an appropriate technical qualification with extensive experience.

Skills And Experience

As a successful applicant you must be
Educated to at degree level in a relevant scientific discipline with appropriate industrial experience of the operation of a commercial RPU. OR A Diploma in electrical, electronic, or mechanical technology from a recognized technical institute or relevant practical experience in a related field.
And have Previous Experience
Experience of the operation and maintenance of industrial equipment/processes.
Understanding of the completion of maintenance in a GMP compliant facility.
Previous experience of working in a radiation controlled environment is desirable.
Experienced in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.
First class written and communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills; personable.
Excellent organisation skills.

Self-motivated.
