Join our team as a CYP Enablement Officer in Manchester for an extraordinary chance to profoundly impact children and young people (CYP) with sight loss. In this pivotal role, you'll guide CYP through tailored programs that enhance their independence and confidence. Your work will involve leading engaging activities such as cooking, social skills development, and planning for the future, all aimed at fostering confidence, self-esteem, and essential life skills. This unique opportunity allows for creativity and fun while empowering young individuals through our "I Can Do It" course and "Friendship Matters" activities.

Salary: 13.64 per hour/14,894.88 per annum



Hours: 21 hours per week



Weeks: 52 Weeks



Holiday: 5 weeks plus 10 days bank holiday (pro-rata)



Closing date: 21st November 2025 - 12 Noon



Requirements:

Collaborating with CYP and their parents to set personalised goals and plans, assessing individual needs through both virtual and in-person meetings. Organising and coordinating the logistics of course and activity delivery within budget constraints, including resource allocation, venue booking, and conducting risk assessments. Managing virtual sessions in adherence to online safety standards. Overseeing sessional workers, providing support and guidance to ensure the effective delivery of courses, workshops, and activities.
