We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Event Security Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our premises, staff, and visitors. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. A background in driving. You will be required to drive our officers to Ipswich from London, also will be required to do a shift in stadium all relevant training will be given for this. Having an Door Supervisor SIA badge will be advantage. However not needed as all training will be given .

Responsibilities

Monitor and patrol designated areas to ensure safety and security. Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies. Conduct regular inspections of buildings and grounds. Maintain clear communication with team members and emergency services when necessary. Document all incidents, observations, and activities in a detailed manner. Assist in the management of access control systems. Provide excellent customer service to staff and visitors while enforcing security protocols. Collaborate with local law enforcement as required.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a security role or similar position is preferred. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Mechanical knowledge is beneficial for handling security equipment. Experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving is an asset. Familiarity with warehouse operations is advantageous. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. A valid D1 driving licence is required. Must be able to pass background checks as part of the hiring process.
