Part time Nanny position with full time hours on offer in Queens Park, London! Competitive salary on offer for the right candidate!

Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a Part time Daily Nanny to work 3.5 days per week looking after their lovely 1.5 year old son. Mum ideally would like the Nanny to work Monday to Wednesday with a half day on Friday but is open to the half day being Thursdays. On the half day, that is when the Nanny will be able to do more light housekeeping for the child as mum will be around. The role will be sole charge, mum really wants someone who really engages with children and has a passion for child development.

General duties:

• Preparing meals for the child - fresh and nutritious meals, some batch cooking
• Playing and educational activities
• Take to activities - swimming lessons, music class, gym and football classes
• Arrange and supervise playdates
• Arrange fun and engaging activities in the home - arts and crafts, messy play, baking, water play
• Arrange occasional trips out - museums, zoo, soft play
• Spend time outdoors in all weather - in the garden, park and woodlands
• Stay on top of developmentally appropriate activities and changes to routine
• Nursery duties and housekeeping related to the child - washing and ironing, keeping nursery in order and stocked with nappies and towels, keeping toys and books clean and in good order
• Bath time

Candidate requirements:

• Experience within a similar role with a similar aged child
• Someone happy being outdoors
• Ideal candidate will have qualifications or training in early years
• Somone who can show initiative with arranging activities
• Pet friendly - family have dogs
• Someone loving with children who really engages with them
• Ideally someone local to the area

DBS check required at offer stage & and a current First Aid Certificate
