THE JOB ROLE:

Do you have a keen eye for detail and take pride in maintaining the highest standards of animal care and milk production? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to become a vital member of our clients milking team on our reputable dairy farm.
This opportunity not only offers great pay but also comes with fantastic flexibility. Successful candidates will be able to choose the days and hours they work within the working week, with every 12 week cycle, candidates will have 3 weeks off. This would suit dairy workers from the whole of Europe.

As dairy farm worker, you will play a crucial role in the daily milking operations. You will be responsible for ensuring the comfort and well-being of our cows while efficiently and hygienically milking them. Your primary duties will include:

THE CANDIDATES:

We are looking for two candidates who are known to each other or have worked together in a team.

Here\'s what we require.

As a Dairy farm worker, you will play a crucial role in the daily milking operations. You will be responsible for ensuring the comfort and well-being of Livestock while efficiently and hygienically milking them. Your primary duties will include:

  • Carrying out milking routines in a timely and proficient manner.
  • Monitoring cows for any signs of health issues or discomfort during milking.
  • Ensuring the milking equipment is sanitized and maintained to the highest standards.
  • Assisting in feeding, watering, and bedding the cows as needed.
  • Identifying and reporting any health concerns or behavioural changes in the cows to the farm manager.
  • Supporting in the general maintenance and cleanliness of the milking parlour and Calf PENS
  • Accurately documenting milking activities and any pertinent information for each cow.
  • Collaborating effectively with other farm team members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in dairy farming or livestock handling is advantageous but not essential; we are willing to train motivated candidates.
  • A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their welfare.
  • Strong physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
  • Attention to detail and adherence to strict hygiene and safety protocols.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within our team.
  • Ability to work early mornings and weekends on a rotational basis.
