Position: Damp and Mould Surveyor
Salary: \xc2\xa334,750 - 37,575 Plus \xc2\xa3950 Car Allowance (pending pay award, backdated to start date)
Location: East Midlands, United Kingdom
Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Are you passionate about improving the quality of living for residents in housing communities? Do you possess a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of damp and mould-related issues? If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for you to join a reputable East Midlands based Housing Association as a Damp and Mould Surveyor.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive damp and mould surveys in various residential properties across the East Midlands region.
  • Identify and assess the root causes of damp and mould issues through thorough inspections and analysis.
  • Collaborate with tenants and property owners to provide expert guidance and advice on effective remediation and prevention strategies.
  • Compile detailed reports outlining survey findings, recommended actions, and cost-effective solutions.
  • Liaise with maintenance teams, contractors, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient implementation of corrective measures.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to damp and mould prevention and management.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in conducting damp and mould surveys within residential properties.
  • Strong knowledge of building construction, materials, and structural elements impacting damp and mould occurrence.
  • Proficiency in using relevant tools and equipment for accurate moisture measurement and assessment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with tenants, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Relevant qualifications in building surveying, construction, or a related field are preferred.
  • A valid drivers license and access to transportation for travel within the East Midlands region.
