Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plasterer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in plastering and related construction activities, showcasing a strong understanding of various techniques and materials. This role involves working on diverse projects, including new constructions, renovations, and restorations, while ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

Apply plaster to walls and ceilings using various techniques to achieve a smooth finish. Prepare surfaces for plastering by cleaning, repairing, and applying necessary base coats. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications. Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively. Conduct concrete forming, finishing, and rebar installation as needed for structural integrity. Perform masonry tasks including stucco application, tile laying, and caulking. Assist in carpentry tasks such as frame carpentry, trim carpentry, and metal stud framing. Maintain a clean and organized work environment on the construction site. Follow all safety protocols to minimize risks associated with construction activities.

Qualifications

Proven experience in plastering with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Familiarity with concrete forming, restoration techniques, hardscape installation, and renovation processes. Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation. Strong understanding of construction estimating practices and material costs. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately. Knowledge of welding techniques is a plus. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Previous construction site experience is preferred.
