Job Overview:
Damp and ventilation company covering all of Merseyside, requires a builder/Multi trade person(s).

Jobs include hacking off internal walls for remedial damp proofing, membraning.

Cutting core holes for extractors.

Removing and installing radiators and skirting boards.

Plasterboarding and skimming experince would be an advantage

Removal and installation of skirting boards

Brickwork repointing.

Own transport and tools essential.

CIS contract

Responsibilities:
- Installation of remedial damp proofing products to prevent moisture penetration
- Repair or replace damaged or deteriorated damp-proofing materials
- Apply waterproof coatings to surfaces, such as walls and floors

-Repointing of brickwork, removing & reinstalling radiators & skirting boards.
- Utilize a variety of tools and equipment, including power tools, to complete tasks efficiently
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labour as required for the job
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and use appropriate personal protective equipment

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Damp Proofer, plasterer or similar role in the construction industry is an advantage.
- Proficiency in various construction skills, including brickwork repointing, painting, electrical work, plumbing, and joinery
- Ability to fabricate or modify materials to fit specific requirements
- Familiarity with power tools and equipment used in construction and maintenance work

- Asbestos awareness and other H&S certs an advantage
- Physical stamina and ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labour for extended periods
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues related to dampness
