Desired Qualification:

DDE, DDP, DDI. ISTD or relevant drama qualification. Interest in Early Years and undergoing some training in the EYFS.

Travel to venues during holiday periods is required, in discussions with Area Manager and HR Manager.

Role Purpose



Do you have a passion for dance, drama, and making magic happen for little ones? We're looking for an energetic, organised, and creative superstar to join the Club Excel team!

As our Dance, Early Years & Administration Coordinator, you'll take the lead on our Dance and Drama programmes during half terms, Easter, and summer holidays bringing confidence, rhythm, and smiles to every child who joins. You'll also work your magic behind the scenes, supporting our Head Office team with day-to-day admin and helping to recruit and manage our fantastic part-time staff. When the school day ends, you'll guide our nursery and reception children through fun-filled after-school sessions that balance play, creativity, and care. In your role as Early Years Coordinator, you'll head up our Mini Camp for 3-4year olds ensuring every tiny camper enjoys a safe, exciting, and joy-packed experience!

You'll be at the heart of what makes Club Excel shine: maintaining our high standards, ensuring everything runs smoothly (and Ofsted-approved!), and creating unforgettable experiences for children and families.

Key Responsibilities



Dance and Drama Leadership



Lead the Dance and Drama programmes for children aged 4-13 years during half terms, Easter and Summer Liaise with fellow creative lead from other area to ensure quality across the whole of Club Excel. Plan engaging and developmentally appropriate activities for staff on camp to use Plan and deliver our After School Dance programme sessions, support with the recruitment and management of part time staff as this grows Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment Support children with SEND needs to participate fully

Early Years Leadership



Lead the Mini Camp programme for children aged 3-4 years during half terms, Easter and Summer in your area. Liaise with fellow Early Years Coordinator and HR Manager Oversee nursery and reception children at the after-school clubs in your area Plan engaging and developmentally appropriate activities aligned with the EYFS Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment Support children with SEND needs to participate fully

Staffing & Team Management



Support with recruiting and onboarding part-time EYFS staff in accordance with safer recruitment practices Support with recruiting and onboarding part-time Early Years and dance staff Provide guidance to team members to ensure high-quality care and behaviour standards Participate in weekly operations meetings and work collaboratively across teams

Quality, Compliance & Safeguarding



Maintain full compliance with Ofsted, EYFS, Safeguarding, and Health & Safety requirements Ensure policies, procedures and risk assessments are consistently applied Immediately report any safeguarding concerns in line with company policy

Operations & Administration



Conduct venue visits during camp to monitor and support delivery standards Assist with office-based duties including responding to enquiries, processing bookings and administrative tasks on our bespoke system Contribute ideas to enhancing children's performing arts and creative activities Contribute to sorting, organising and planning Mini Camp activities and themes

Training & Professional Development



Attend mandatory training and induction sessions Complete online and in-person training as required Engage in reviews and annual appraisal process Be willing to gain Early Years training or qualification Set and work towards personal development goals

Follow all Health & Safety, first aid and welfare procedures Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude, and build rapport with children and families Actively uphold Club Excel's values and reputation for quality childcare Always promote equal opportunities and an inclusive culture
