We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Dance Instructor to join our vibrant dance studio. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a variety of dance styles, inspiring students of all ages and skill levels, and fostering a positive learning environment. The position is paid and suitable for both experienced instructors and those eager to develop their teaching skills.

Duties

Plan and deliver engaging dance classes tailored to different age groups and skill levels. Demonstrate proper technique and movement to ensure safe practice. Provide personalised feedback and encouragement to motivate students. Organise and oversee rehearsals for performances or competitions when required. Maintain a safe, clean, and organised studio environment. Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly. Promote a positive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages participation and enjoyment. Assist with studio events, workshops, or community outreach programmes as needed.

Requirements

Proven experience teaching dance or performing at a professional level in one or more dance styles. Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students. Relevant qualifications in dance instruction or performance are desirable but not essential if accompanied by substantial experience. Passionate about dance with a friendly, approachable demeanour. Organised with the ability to plan lessons effectively and manage class schedules smoothly. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required. A recognised first aid certification is advantageous but not mandatory. A professional attitude with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Pay: 30.00-150.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 - 6 per week
