We are seeking a passionate and skilled Dance Instructor to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various dance styles and the ability to inspire and motivate students of all ages. As a Dance Instructor, you will play a pivotal role in developing students' skills, fostering their love for dance, and creating an inclusive and enjoyable learning environment.

Duties

Plan and deliver engaging dance lessons tailored to the needs of students at different skill levels. Teach various dance styles, including but not limited to ballet, jazz, hip-hop, contemporary, and tap. Develop lesson plans that incorporate technique, creativity, and performance skills. Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their technique and confidence. Organise and participate in recitals, competitions, and other performance opportunities. Maintain a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for dance. Collaborate with other instructors to create a cohesive curriculum that meets the studio's goals. Ensure the safety of all students during classes by maintaining a clean and hazard-free environment.

Experience

Previous experience as a dance instructor or in a similar role is preferred. Strong proficiency in one or more dance styles with an understanding of teaching methodologies. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate students effectively. A background in performance is advantageous but not essential. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by class schedules.
