We are seeking a passionate and skilled Dance Instructor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various dance styles and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching and inspiring students of all ages. As a Dance Instructor, you will play a vital role in fostering a love for dance, helping students develop their skills, and creating an enjoyable learning environment.
We are based in Watlington and we are looking for someone to take on the Friday evening classes (5pm-9pm) during term time. The ages of our students range from 3 to 18 years old.
Responsibilities
Deliver engaging dance lessons in various styles, including acro, ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary.
Develop lesson plans that cater to the diverse skill levels and ages of students.
Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to students to enhance their performance and confidence.
Organise and prepare for shows, exams, and other events.
Maintain a safe and welcoming studio environment for all participants.
Collaborate with other instructors to create a cohesive curriculum that promotes student growth.
Stay updated on current dance trends and techniques to ensure high-quality instruction.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Dance Instructor or in a similar role is preferred.
Strong proficiency in one or more dance styles with the ability to teach others effectively.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
Patience, creativity, and adaptability in teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
Certification in first aid is required.
Must hold valid DBS.
