Danny's Dream is a CQC registered service that offers a unique blend of domiciliary care and community care, alongside care and support within our Danny's Dream club. We offer a fully person-centred approach to individuals with profound and multiple learning disabilities, physical disabilities and complex health support needs. We have a high staff retention and are committed to supporting staff work - life balance and while there will be some weekend on-calls we do not generally provide a weekend or Bank Holiday service.

Danny's Dream Assistant Manager



Salary: 29,524.96



Hours: 37 per week.



Usual working pattern Monday to Friday.



Some On-call working.



No Bank Holidays.



The role will include:





Supporting the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of Danny's Dream services, including staff supervision, rota planning, and quality assurance aligned with CQC standards. Supporting with care planning, service user referrals, and risk assessments to ensure person-centred support in domiciliary and community settings. Participating in safeguarding, incident reporting, and on-call duties while promoting a culture of safety, learning, and continuous improvement. Managing and mentoring the core staff team, facilitating training, professional development, and performance reviews. Representing the service at multi-agency meetings and promotional events, contributing to service development and community engagement.

To be successful in this role you will:





Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care (or equivalent sector-specific qualification) with significant experience in domiciliary care and staff supervision. Strong understanding of CQC compliance and the 5 key standards (Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive, Well-led), with the ability to embed these into daily service delivery. Experience in managing staff performance, including mentoring, conducting supervisions, coordinating rotas, and facilitating training and professional development. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to attend and contribute to multi-agency meetings and manage incidents appropriately. Good knowledge of safeguarding protocols, GDPR, and health & safety legislation, alongside the ability to carry out quality monitoring, risk assessments, and care planning.
