What's the role?
At Watford Community Housing, we provide vital services that help people to live better lives. As part of our Asset and Sustainability Team, you will use your data management skills to help us deliver high-quality housing services and provide technical advice and support to the organisation to ensure good customer service is provided.
The right candidate will need the ability to manage large Asset and compliance data sets and data systems and have the ability to produce detailed analysis and reports to help facilitate decision making on capital and revenue investment programmes. Candidates will also have the ability to periodically and responsively audit data sets to ensure that data integrity is maintained to a very high standard and that quality assurance processes are followed.
Having previous experience of Asset Management and or Compliance related work streams within Housing would be a distinct advantage. Candidates will need to adopt and reinforce a structured approach to accurately collect, report and record information into the asset database, and a methodical approach to work is essential. Finally teamwork is essential to the success of this rile and the successful candidate will need work effectively and proactively with colleagues.
What are we looking for?
You will be customer-focused, with the ability to interact empathetically with a wide variety of people. The right candidate will have an excellent grasp of the current building regulations and relevant legislation with an understanding of how to manage systems to ensure compliance is followed. You will have a background in similar roles previously, and knowledge of the housing or construction sectors would be a distinct advantage.
