Your new role:
We are looking for a Data Analysis Technician to join the Business Development team on a full time and permanent basis. This post is within a diverse and friendly team, and it is offered on a hybrid working pattern.
As a Data Analysis Technician, you will provide a full range of technical support functions that are required across teams within the Infrastructure & Environment directorate. You will report directly to the Quality Assurance Manager and will be required to support the range of disciplines and functions delivered in the Traffic & Parking and Highways & Coastal services in accordance with the Council's strategies and policies. You will provide information, advice and guidance to other teams and officers, ensuring responses are within corporate timescales.
You will be required to work across the directorate providing support and assistance where required to help improve the services performance. This could include working with the policies team to develop or update existing policies to bring them in line with the Councils current principles/guidelines or developing a dashboard to enable the service managers to be able to better understand the performance of their teams.
You will manage and respond to complaints, enquiries and FOI's responding within corporate timescales. You will be required to use Excel and Word or equivalent software for the production of reports and dashboards.
