Job Description


We are looking for a Data Analyst and Policy Officer who is keen to make a difference to services that will benefit Medway residents.

The Adults Partnership Commissioning team are a forward thinking and experienced service, that coordinate a wide portfolio of projects for Medway Council and NHS Kent & Medway Integrated Care Board. This exciting opportunity will give the successful applicant the ability to contribute extensively to informing the commissioning of health and social care services across Medway. They will gain knowledge and experience from highly skilled team members and will also be given the opportunity to showcase their own analytical skills and competencies with data and contribute to policy writing. They will be expected to work in partnership with providers, other agencies, and strategic networks.

The successful applicant will work closely with the programme leads to create a variety of reports, including needs assessments and monitoring reports. They will contribute to the creation of new plans and strategies to develop the Care Provider Market and outline our commissioning intensions. Duties include, but are not exclusive to, project management, policy development, creating needs assessments, compiling statutory reports and analysing contract performance data.

Through continued engagement with stakeholders you will ensure a high standard of work which will result in the improvement of services. The post holder will undertake actions that generate quantitative and qualitative information such as contract management meetings and provider forums and effectively ensure the improvement of service.

We are looking for applicants with an enthusiasm to keep developing their existing skills. We are keen to hear from potential applicants with data analysis and policy writing experience and with experience of adult social care services.
