We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Data Analyst to join our growing team in Northampton. As a Business Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive business decisions and improve organisational performance.

The role includes:



Conducting data analysis and generating insightful reports to support strategic business decisions. Writing and maintaining comprehensive process documents to ensure clarity and consistency across the organisation. Supporting systems testing to guarantee our tools and platforms are functioning optimally. Assisting with project management tasks, ensuring projects stay on track and within scope. Developing detailed specifications for system changes and new reports to meet the evolving needs of the business. Cleansing and managing data to ensure its accuracy and reliability. Collaborating with our depots around the UK on various systems and projects, ensuring smooth implementation and operation.

What we are looking for:



Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI. Strong Excel skills, including the use of formulas, pivot tables, and basic data analysis functions. Experience in managing projects and working with different teams. An analytical mindset with a passion for turning data into actionable insights. Experience in making data-driven decisions and encouraging this approach among others. Good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences. An understanding of business drivers and commercial awareness. Excellent organisational skills, able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
