Role Overview
We are seeking a
Data Analyst
to join our growing team and play a key role in driving data-led decision-making across production, supply chain, and commercial functions.
You'll be responsible for collecting, analysing, and interpreting large datasets from multiple systems (ERP, production, sales, and logistics) to uncover insights, optimise efficiency, and support continuous improvement across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Gather, clean, and analyse data from multiple internal systems (production, sales, inventory, quality, finance).
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using
Excel
, or similar tools.
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as yield, waste, throughput, OEE, and delivery performance.
Provide actionable insights to improve production efficiency, reduce waste, and optimise scheduling.
Support the forecasting and budgeting process with data-driven analysis.
Collaborate with operations, finance, and quality teams to identify improvement opportunities.
Automate repetitive reporting processes to improve accuracy and efficiency.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with company standards.
Present insights and recommendations to senior management in clear, visual formats.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
Proven experience as a
Data Analyst
(preferably in food manufacturing, FMCG, or production environments).
Advanced proficiency in
Excel
(pivot tables, Power Query, macros)
Strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
High attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.
Strong communication skills -- able to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Desirable:
Knowledge of lean manufacturing metrics and production analysis.
Background in statistics or data science.
Understanding of food manufacturing processes (HACCP, BRC standards).
Qualifications
Additional certifications in SQL, or data analysis (preferred).
