Duties
Collect, process, and perform statistical analyses on large datasets to derive actionable insights.
Develop and maintain dashboards using tools such as Tableau and Power BI to visualise data trends.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide business analysis support.
Design and implement database structures using Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server for efficient data storage and retrieval.
Participate in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) by contributing to project management efforts and ensuring timely delivery of analytics projects.
Utilise programming languages such as R and Python for advanced data manipulation and analysis tasks.
Create detailed documentation of processes, methodologies, and findings using tools like Visio for clear communication.
Conduct training sessions on data tools and techniques for team members as required.
Skills
Proficient in SQL for querying databases and extracting relevant information.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets effectively.
Familiarity with VBA and Bash (Unix shell) for automating tasks and enhancing productivity.
Experience in database design principles to create efficient data models.
Excellent project management skills with a focus on meeting deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
