are focused on delivering solutions to the residential sector. Polypipe Building Products works with national and local developers, plumbing and heating engineers, general builders and groundworkers to deliver above and below ground drainage systems, rainwater solutions as well as hot and cold plastic plumbing products.

Role Overview:

This role is a business support role to provide information, reporting and insights to enable data lead decisions. The Report Analyst will work as part of the wider planning team to produce specific reports for key information such as forecasting, OTIF, stock risk and other KPIs.

The role will be responsible for maintaining reporting and the relationships with business stakeholders to ensure business users have the right information at the right time

Key Responsibilities:



Report on Service, Inventory and OSMI performance and provide root cause analysis. Prepare KPI presentations. Analyse large datasets and deliver actionable insights to support informed decision-making Produce and distribute regular business reports using Power BI to relevant functions and key stakeholders using a problem-solving approach to gathering the data, develop the reports and drive adoption. Create and maintain reports to assess the quality of the Production Schedule Create Tool maintenance plan with the Tooling team as well as track and improve plan adherence. Create Machine maintenance plan with Maintenance team as well as track and improve plan adherence. Exploit the reporting and data we provide to better understand our business performance and to highlight opportunities for growth or risks to mitigate Utilise dashboards, and curated data to generate insights that contribute to revenue growth and cost optimisation Design, develop, and maintain intuitive dashboards & data sets Provide technical support, training, and guidance to business users, ensuring effective use of tools and processes

Capabilities Required:



Essential;

Extensive experience developing with Power BI Excel / Power Query proficiency Business & data analysis skills Strong experience with data visualisation tools Demonstrable experience of creating and embedding new and improved processes. Strong MS Excel skills and ability to create bespoke action-focused reports from scratch. Experience and knowledge of using IFS or similar ERP software. Highly self-motivated, resilient and confident in own ability. Target focused, able to prioritise and manage own time. Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels. Able to demonstrate building strong relationships with other internal departments. Problem Solving Skills - process improvement techniques, problem analysis and resolution. Prior experience working with SQL to query data and Python to conduct data analysis
Preferable;

Knowledge of demand planning, capacity planning, material planning and scheduling. Project management / Continuous Improvement experience. Experience in manufacturing operations. Trained in Microsoft Power BI. General knowledge of lean manufacturing methodologies and techniques. Good presentation skills. MS Office suite of software.
