Data Analyst – Finance
Job Description
Ref: MG2485
Location: Stevenage (SG1)
Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am-4.30pm
Pay: 500 - 600 per day paid weekly via umbrella - Inside IR35
Duration: 6 months initially with possibility for extension
Duties
Data transformation- support the team to deliver and influence IT teams to enact change in Oracle both short-term and long-term fixes to improve the month-end reporting process.
Contract reporting- work with IT and Business Intelligence teams to deliver a project to improve existing process- through automation and improved visualisation. Deliver the technical elements of the current process in the interim.
Function reporting- improve quality of the data, maintain reporting and templates and process divisional adjustments.
PBCS support- support existing PBCS budgeting and forecasting process and identify areas for improvement.
Other projects- ad-hoc support and identifying improvements
Qualifications & Experience
Qualified account (ACCA, CIMA or ACA).
Strong systems experience (Oracle, Oracle PBCS and Microsoft Fabric all desirable).
Visualisation skills (e.g. Power BI)
Excellent excel user and familiarity with power query.
Experience at delivering data transformation projects within finance teams for a large business.
Self-starter- keen to improve all processes across FP&A
