Are you a Data Analyst with a strong passion for music who has strong SQL and Python skills for a range of reporting duties as the team here in the UK grows?

Sentinel are working with a music publisher responsible for representing some of biggest names in the industry and their back catalogues.

We are looking for a Data Analyst with an interest in the industry who has strong SQL and Python skills. This candidate will be a champion of data to the wider business, as well as being able to put the ideas the team have into practice. The role would really suit a creative individual who loves thinking outside the box and the technical go to person in an otherwise not so technical team. This person will liaise with the main data team who are Us based but really be the boots on the ground here in the UK for the A&R department. The team have a it of a late night culture and enjoy socialising outside work and going to shows discovering the best emerging talent on the scene.

Skills & Experience:

We are looking for someone that has a strong mix of the following skills and experience:

- Strong SQL and Python experience

- Running and creating Lambdas

- Data visualisation

- Any knowledge of the wider data lifecycle and AWS cloud infrastructure would be advantageous

- Someone who can access the ETL

- A passion for music royalties and knowledge of publishing and recording income streams.

- Previous work experience in music royalties, particularly in the handing and analysis of artist\xe2\x80\x99s/songwriter royalty data.

Responsibilities:

As the Data Analyst, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be responsible for:

- Being a champion for data strategy in the wider business

- Automation of existing processes

- Automating weekly reports

- Data reporting to recommend the performance of writers songs

- Creating and running Lambdas

- Creating and maintaining regular data reports and visualisations for internal stakeholders

- Testing in a sandbox environment
