Why is this role important?
The Data Analyst role is pivotal in supporting and encouraging business growth. You'll be responsible for gathering and maintaining data from a wide range of sources, and then surfacing key metrics to our online BI platform. This position requires a strong focus on data quality and accuracy, as you'll maintain existing KPI dashboards and customer 360 Platforms, develop new BI projects, and support department managers with their reporting and analysis needs.
Responsibilities
Provide analysis and insights:
Serve as a key representative for the Business Intelligence team by providing detailed analysis and insights to stakeholders across the business.
Develop and maintain BI tools:
Support the BI strategy by developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards. You'll also manage the integrity of data within platforms like Planhat to ensure accurate customer insights.
Automate and innovate:
Utilise AI and machine learning tools to automate routine data tasks and generate advanced insights.
Manage data and documentation:
Design and maintain data management methods, including automation workflows using Power Automate. You'll also create and maintain documentation on development and deployments.
Handle ad-hoc requests:
Fulfil inbound requests for data analysis from various business units and provide ad-hoc analysis to key units
Identify growth opportunities:
Proactively identify opportunities for commercial growth through trend and gap analysis and collaborate with teams to implement actionable next steps
Maintain awareness of and be compliant with information security protocols in relation to your job role and handling of any data.
What we value for this role
Proven Data Skills:
You should have a proven ability to build and maintain dashboards and visualisations using Power BI. We also look for demonstrable experience in querying and analysing complex datasets , and a strong interest and aptitude for data development and analytics.
SaaS Experience:
The ideal candidate will have commercial experience in a SaaS environment and experience working with sales commission plans. Knowledge of Planhat or similar customer 360 platforms is highly preferred.
Technical Knowledge:
We value solid experience with CRM management and data sanitisation practices. Experience with Dax and M-code is key , as is knowledge of Fabric data preparation and storage methods

Personal Competencies:
You should have strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively translate technical insights for both technical and non-technical audiences. A results-oriented approach with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy is a must. We are looking for a proactive, creative, and lateral-thinking approach to problem-solving , along with a desire for constant progression and improvement.
