The Role


We are recruiting for a Data Analyst to join our Flow & Water Quality Monitoring team. This role is essential in delivering accurate environmental data gathered from field-deployed flow monitors across the UK. These monitors capture water depth, velocity, and rainfall data, which are used to assess the performance of wastewater networks and river quality.


This is a hybrid role based in Leeds, with flexibility to work from home, client sites, or our office, depending on operational needs.


Key Responsibilities

Edit and analyse environmental data from flow monitoring and water quality systems Identify patterns and anomalies in water flow, rainfall, and river data Update and record equipment status, ensuring optimum data quality and performance Communicate findings clearly with both internal teams and external clients Deliver reports and support project stakeholders with accurate data-driven insights

Role Requirements

Strong attention to detail and data accuracy Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word), email, and web-based reporting tools Ideally holds a degree in a relevant subject (e.g., Geography, Environmental Science, Hydrology) and/or industry experience (not essential full training provided) Must have the right to work in the UK

This is a hybrid role primarily connected to our Leeds office. You'll have the flexibility to work from home, client offices, or our Leeds base depending on your workload and meeting schedules. While regular travel to the office is required, daily attendance is not expected. Ideally, candidates should be within reasonable commuting distance to foster collaboration with on-site teamsbut this is not essential.
