The Data Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting project management efforts and contributing to the overall success of our data-driven initiatives.

Duties

Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions. Utilise SQL for querying databases and extracting relevant data for analysis. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights. Participate in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to ensure data requirements are met throughout project phases. Design and maintain databases, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations that effectively communicate findings to stakeholders. Assist in project management by tracking progress, managing timelines, and ensuring deliverables are met.

Experience

Proven experience in data analysis with a strong understanding of statistical methods. Familiarity with project management principles and practices. Proficient in SQL for database querying; experience with R is highly desirable. Knowledge of business analysis techniques and methodologies. Experience with database design principles and best practices. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse complex information effectively.
